Great, so the afterburn does slightly less damage. Big whoop. You're still on fire, screaming to the whole world where you are, and no amount of cloak/reduced afterburn is going to save you from all the guns now pointing at you, unless it was at the front lines anyways.

Maybe the Blu Engineer merely told the Red Engineer where the Spies hang out, so that she could class change into a Pyro and unleash hell?

And again; Dead ringer still nulified afterburn and reduces damage taken. Usually long enough for the Spy to get within range of some medikit or medic. Usually.

Dead Ringer really doesn't matter when you're on fire. Sure you'll drop a fake corpse and cloak, but you'll still be on fire.

Right now I'm just guessin' this has something to do with the creation of the pyro and his lifelong partnership with the engie because he wasn't in the last revengineer arc.

She dressed up as the pyro to kill the spy who lured the red engie into the blu engie's sentries way back when in that "terminator" esque arc. SATISFIED?
