Its interesting to think God of War may be the Altered Beast of this generation, i.e. an action game happening in Greece.

I think it's no contest God of War is the superior game, but on the gone days of 16-bits gaming, Altered Beast had it's spot in the sun.

Different of others older games however, I barely find Altered Beast interesting... make me think how tolerant I was with what I played at that time and how picky I am today.

It will be interesting to see which modern games will survive the test of time.
