In reference to Death Prophet, I just love it when, in a team fight, after I've popped my ult as Death Prophet, the enemy carry pops his BKB, hoping to shrug off my beautiful laddies off him/her.

All they end up doing is decreasing BKB's duration level and increasing the cooldown. Fun times.

Played all random today, actually pulled that off. Our team lacked initiation, so i got blink and bkb and it was mega fun.

Truth to be told, CM can actually carry. She needs a Blink, a bkb, some surviviability items and then you just go ahead teamwiping with your ridiculous-if-not-stopped ultimate.
Too bad BKB hard-counters you and you can't contribute anything if your ult is on cooldown. It's still very well possible.

tuvarkz got it right, bkb/linkens for survivability, mjollnir for attack speed and chain lightning, mkbfor main damage, daedalus for additional damage and crit chance because of attack speed, skadi/satanic depends but i would recommend satanic. lifesteal is a must for carries.

realistically(or idealistically), CM should have these items as luxury(i.e. she survives and dominates enough to be a carry):
bkb, blink dagger, scythe, skadi, shiva, boots of travels.

guy below me fails for not having travels.

Better build to carry with CM: BKB/linkens; Mjollnir, Daedalus, MKB, Phase, Skadi/Satanic
