Also regarding the fanservice issue, personally I think due to the nature of the character (Shantae) it does make her more endearing than sexualised.

Shantae looks pretty cool. OTOH, Jo, it's entirely possible to be a supporter of nostalgia *and* a pervert at the same time. ;-)

About the skin tune how about diffrent color palletes? I dig both her new and old color schemes.

I played the iPod game based on her. it was enjoyable. But I'd like more.

Years ago, i played Shantae and i must admit that the main character is cute. However, the game is so-so.

I didn't played the classic either, but platformers are on a "don't care" way with fanservice, with or without makes no difference to me. It seems a great platformer (which is my fave genre), which means i'm with you on this one, gonna support too.
On a sidenote, this character limitation is annoy

Honestly, i don't care for fanservice, kind of. A game like Bayonetta for example, i think fanservice denigrates the character image. I prefer the kind of character like Ruby (Wet). But games like Record of Agarest War just seem plain WRONG without fanservice.

Check your English on this one. "I'm gonna support this one." and "I've been unfair with you." Otherwise great comic!

The game seems to have delicious gameplay, delicious soundtrack and delicious 2D sprites including monstergirl sprites and belly dancing! What's not to like?
