Well, no matter how you look at it, I got a way better view of IE after that promo. I actually bothered looking up the stats and IE isn't as bad as it used to be. If only I had gotten the auto spelling correction to work on ytube and on forums like this I would have switched... So close but no cooki

Now let's see: pretty much everyone has ignored IE-tan for a long time now (I just use her when there's a popup, which is again very rare). This is just gonna go into my pic library. Sorry IE-tan, everyone's going to date with Chrome-tan.
All of which I have clearly stated before, but for some reason you insist on completely ignoring actual statements made and make up ridiculous arguments for other people only to tear down those arguments you yourself made up.
There are security holes and memory leaks.
There is no such thing as a "security leak".
You also fail basic reading comprehension. I don't "follow" chrome and certainly not because it "pushes the standards of the majority (like MS used to do as well)".

I must also admit that development wise it is very interesting. After reading the tip further down to just press F12.. I got hooked a bit ;).
Oh well, at least the web developers using Windows now have a few extra tools to work with :).

I'm a proud OpenSuse and Firefox user, only switching to WIndows for games. But trying out IE 11 and I must say it has matured very well. But hey, keep saying things like STD's and like she is "abused". Makes you all look really good towards those who really have that happen in their lives.

WoW, quite a few nagging nancies telling things that simply aren't true or following a browser with even more security leaks (Chrome) and even less standard Compliant (Chrome) only because it "pushes the standard of the majority). Like MS used to do as well.

Anyone else notice that the music used is Sakura's theme from Street Fighter?
Continued...
Sure, they eventually relented on the home page button, but for every feature they relent on there are dozens they refuse to implement because choice is bad and everyone must get used to doing things THEIR way.
Which is why despite its speed chrome will never be my only browser.

... direct quote from a google reps when they were explaining why users shouldn't have the choice on things like home page button, size of spacing between lines, bookmarks sidebar, backspace back functionality toggle, and many others.
All those nonsense posts complaining about chromes ram consumption or tab count... those are some of the best things about it.
Now if you want to complain about something, complain about the fact that google is "morally opposed to giving users choice", which is a direct quote from a google rep
@Eboreg: which flavor of linux specifically? Because it works great with most that I know of.
Also, look into chromium if chrome isn't available for your particular flavor.
PS. Anyone who uses firefox should try waterfox. 10x faster.
IE tan would be more accurately represented as an abused girl whose daddy whores her out. She has some STDs, she tries, really, but daddy Gates is mostly focused on setting up a racket. Also she has been neglected for much of her childhood (IE didn't update for years until there was competition)
Jo! Great news! Diretide is coming next week! And it only took spamming the political facebook pages, down rating our game and threatening someone. To get Valve's attention!
Seriously part of me thinks that we don't deserve Diretide for the way we acted.
Did Internet Explore Tan have to really fight Robot Foxes that fire blue fire at her?sad part is I was rooting for the robotic foxes that do blue fire.
@Baturinsky: I'm one to prefer Firefox too, but Chrome is faster, that's a fact. The thing is, everyone who haves a computer for gaming won't need Chrome, with the obvious exception of IE, every browser will be equally fast since your internet speed and RAM are more important.
@Saito Di Brittainia: I have 84 tabs currently opened in Firefox. It takes 1.5 GB of memory. How many would Chrome take?

I think it's funny that IE-Tan is fighting fox-bots (fanboys) and the evil overlord at the end is obviously Firefox itself.

"Here guys, have a NEW Animu Browser!"
Atleast for me, it looks like they just put the most cliché anime girl in the top left corner and call it a new browser.
heh...
(To be honest, I would actually use a Anime-Firefox '~' )
(But thats why they are Personas right?)
Yeeaahh, i guess it's confirmed, i remember seeing somewhere in the web where it said that a great deal of gamers were firefox users. I guess it's the whole interface and custimization options that appeals to us right?
And Jo, you forgot to wait for 3 panels for explorer tan to answer...
I would like to get to dating Chrome-tan but she doesn't get along will with my good friend, Linux-tan. So I continue to go with Firefox-tan as my one and true.
Continued from my previous post
1. Each tab you have gets one thread for itself, including any plugin it needs.
2. Omnibox.
3. Doesn't crash fully when a single page does.
4. Sandbox for your plugins.
5. The fastest page surfing.
I had it of people actually complaining about Chrome, so I will break down the differences between them.
First up with Firefox:
1. Two threads only, one for all your tabs and the latter for all your plugins.
2. Full setting manager.
3. Doesn't use much RAM.
Man, I don't like how fat she is, good thing I can change the GUI on firefox.
Literally the only thing firefox is better at, and yet it's such a huge deal that I cannot use chrome. Why the fuck can't you change the gui on chrome. And no, I'm not talking about changing the color.
@mrttao: Let me complement that: Chrome also has its own Task Manager (shortcut: Shift + Esc), so you can close problematic tabs without the whole thing crashing (usually):

If it wasn't a f_king commercial for a f_king company that can't handle shit because it's bloated with useless people that suck dick for a living it'd actually be enjoyable but a Windows logo found anywhere is major trolling

if it were realistic, she wouldn't be able to defend herself, and when she fired those jet boots, she'd be moving at a crawl.
Probably why microsoft disabled comments for this vid.
@Rethana: Chrome runs several exes per tab on purpose, it is why it is the fastest browser on the market, as it allows it to have damn near 100% scaling on multiple CPU cores.
Also its ram use is front loaded, in the long term it is more memory efficient too.
Opera tan is like this cute girl with glasses and a member of geek club. Not many competition for her so I'm win.

Besides, redheads are cute.

Besides, Firefox-tan just has more plugins that work better, and its so much easier to edit and customize it down to chrome's level. UI wise they are identical nowadays. Some say firefox runs harder and uses more memory but everytime I turn Chome on and look at manager it is launching (1/2)

Funny story:
I downloaded chrome, used it for a week. Nothing bad either; just casual browsing. It immediately caught a few adware viruses and attached themselves to chrome. I cleaned them up and firefox works fine, but chrome is still buggy.
So anyone saying Chrome is cleaner, better? Nope.

(2/2) "sake of security (the shield vs exploiters, severely imposing DRM (broken down city) is worth it... " said no one ever. Which is why it turns out that IE was cosplaying as an idealized version of herself in the safety of her own room.

Effective use of the Blue Screen of Death in that anime there by IE-tan.
Can't say that's a particularly user-friendly method of dealing with exceptions though.
I'm curious on how you would portray Chrome-tan. I used fire fox for quite some time but it's chrome hands down. Fire fox is decent, but as snakestream mentioned... The developer console is second to none. Then again I'm a geek like that sadly :/

Don't really care about the extra features - Chrome has the best multi-tab management. The one thing that IE does damn well is have a hell of a developer console. Seriously, open up a site in IE, press F12, and go fucking nuts. The other browsers can't even come close.
I'd be more interested in Chrome-tan these days. I used to date Fox-tan but she started having this problem with memory sinks and it just spoiled the whole relationship. She's still good friends with my mother though.
