@Mister Jay: Did you ever tried an PS3? I used to say i liked xbox better too, until i managed to bought a play3, besides, if money is an issue for you PS+ gives away a lot of good games for only 50$ yearly, it's way better for a gamer in a budget.
Currently, the only worthwhile game exclusive on XBox One is the as-yet incomplete Killer Instinct. The PS4 doesn't have anything worthwhile I know of, and almost all of the Wii U's best games are first party games.

Meanwhile, Valve just gave away $400,000 to the TF2 community. They did this all at once, just this month (January), to help support creators of maps, hats, and weapons. They didn't pay this to their employees, no, this was given to various community members. Wow.

Nah, it's just payment for advertisement. Is like "our main sponsor is Sosa-Sola, Sosa-Sola is the best thing you can drink after dinner!". Or generic advertisement on TV ("Our washing powder is better then others"). They sponsoring you, you're telling good thing about their merchandise.
I need to find out what time the comic updates (sometime in the early evening from what I can tell, American Central time) so I can get some claims lain. :D

Well, it's kinda obvious, everyone who says good things about Xbone is either a stupid fanboy or a sellout.
Seriously, i've owned both PS3 and 360. PS3 is way better. And after the initial Xbone "functions", i'm not going anywhere near one.
Those youtubers are pretty much fucked, gamers always remember and hard to forgive. At least we still have people like Angry Joe and Yahtzee and Poygon site

You could very well say how much of a shit it is, as long as you indicate that you're playing on an Xbox One.
The part that is Illegal, at least in the United States where the laws apply, is that deal was required to be kept secret. The FTC (Federal Trade Commission) has ruled that you have to disclose this kind of arrangement. If you're going to sell out ya gotta tell people ya sold out.

Not big surprise. companies have done that for some time, and will probably keep doing it. always have yer doubts when you read a 'professional' review for a new console or game; sometimes it's best to see the fans reactions, instead.
