Pyro and Medic didn't get any weapons either. Don't feel too bad. Least you got bread gloves that chew people who get too close.

Wildstar is hard, especially if you play a squishy melee like Stalker (which is my main)

Wildstar Dungeon Guide:

Step 1: Put interrupts on your bar.
Step 2: USE THEM.

At first I thought the new soldier loadout sucked, until I saw the reload bonus. Add a buff banner/kritzkrieg boost, and you can literally rain death.

The sniper is so you can do a more rapid headshot, the Pyro and Demo took heavy nerfs to some of their favorite methods, demo girl should be sobbing right now about the complete neutering of air detonated stickies.

On these notes, why isnt there a pyro girl?

Jo, I see you never played TF 1, the sniper gun is named The Classic because it works exaclty as the TF1 version. And you can run charging and hit headshots without zooming in.

After a few failed WoW-player-filled randoms, I used the "My Realm Only" option and the dungeons have been insanely fun since then.

The trick to the new Sniper rifle is that you can hold down the LMB to charge your shot first, like you would prime the Loose Cannon, except no misfire. Charging makes you slow down as if zoomed in on a normal sniper rifle however, and it also turns on laser sighting. A single RMB press zooms you.

Wow. She must have really punched her hard......

Remember: the most important part of the update was THE FUCKING AXETINGUISHER AND STICKIES GOT NERFED. SEVEN YEARS LATER.

For dungeons you need to know boss strategy + good reflexes. I went without knowledge and its fun to learn on my own but then you get 5-10 wipes per boss. At least telegraphs got good latency unlike ff14 , when you left area and you get dmg anyway.

The group disbanded on the 2nd boss however as the randoms got oneshot by standing inside 3 telegraphs, again and again and again. Anyway, I like it, first time in a long while I've actually felt challenged in an MMO (stopped playing wow during wrath, you know why). :)

This update got me interested in TF2 again. Too bad my graphics card seems to be malfunctioning, making me use the integrated one, so who knows how TF2 will perform? L4D2 and Dota 2 are running OK. True, I had to lower graphical settings, but it's alright. In Dota's case, that actually surpised me.

That said, Invoker silences during phaseshifts and being unable to taunt meant we wiped a lot because the healer would always have healing agro after phase 2. We only wiped some 6-7 times because the randoms still couldn't figure out how to dodge the lightningstrikes.

No, the dungeon just are that hard (also, people have no idea what to do...). Was doing stormtalon with 2 friends of mine and 2 randoms. Was painful. The bosses are not hard to grasp, the telegraphs should tell you when to dodge and the bosses pretty much tell you how to defeat them.
