@Bobo: Untrue. I do believe,in civ 4 which is what jo said he was playing, that the english unique unit is a rifleman (the red coat). You just need feudualism to have longbow archers
Bobo

Composite bowman or crossbowmen. Only the English can build Longbowmen.

You have no idea what you are talking about, so if you truly care for justice, look for it, if not, I am wasting my time.
Civilian losses is not the aim of Israel, but what do you suggest?

CONT. Expired medicine, armed terrorists as well. Aid passes freely via land, after being inspected, and that flotilla refused to pass their stuff through there. Seems like their ideology was more important that helping Gazans.
Besides, my classmate was one of the soldiers, and I'd believe a close

@AckAckAck: I can see that you have no idea what you are talking about. First, I'd like you to say the same when those "harmless rocks" hit your car when you are driving on the highway. Second, the ones who aim at civilians are Hamas. Third, there is a blockade, those ships had expired medical

@Remiel: Imagine a bunch of Phalanxes, outclassed and shelled by a battleship decided to rush into it and in a struck of luck, one of them entered the ammunition room and accidentally triggered a missile that go up spectacularly.

Also funny how in WW2 when nazi Germany slaughtering Jewish everyone was pissed off but when Israel did the same thing as nazi Germany now some people defend them. USA gave billions for their military to kill what? Kids armed with rocks? schoolchildren? Babies?

@MrPriest: That doesn't explain why humanitarian aid ships for Palestinians are raided by Israeli soldiers when it's obvious there's no combatants there.
@Kilgore Trout: And the only reason it is not the same on the Israeli side is because Israel invests in defense technology, while Hamas invests in human shield and propaganda "technology". If you are a gamer, or a reader, you should know pretty well that the world is not as it seems, and people lie.

@MrPriest: "The death count is not..." The POINT is that the death count is staggering even if you go by the figures the IDF releases. But I shouldn't bother continuing if that's the best counter-argument you can come up with.
@Remiel: UNK-1 said it would never work in ANY OTHER Civ game :)
@Kilgore Trout: You do realize that the death count is not final, and that it includes victims of Hamas, natural causes, and local crimes, right? Also, what would you do if your country is under fire for 14 years by some terrorist organization? The world lets them, so Israel must defend itself.

Adding Hitpoints in later Civs helped to balance combat.

Anyway, most of the time, leaders just checked the size of their oponents army but didn't care about technology, so they could attack with an army of archers a civ that had a few but powerful mechanized infantries. You can guess the result.
Remiel

@UNK-1: Yes it would work in Civ1. Remember that in that game, if a Phalanx had a defense of 2 and a Battleship an attack of 64, then the Phalanx on shore could have a 2 in 64 chances of beating the Battleship. Of course, most of the time the Battleship won, but there were unforgettable exceptions.

@MrPriest: So punish everybody over the actions of some? And then bomb the entire area and kill way, way, WAY more civilians than Hamas does, in the name of "stopping terrorism"? And after doing that, claim that YOU are the biggest victims in the whole situation?
@MrPriest: So punish everybody over the actions of some? Actions which kill an average of one or two people a year? And meanwhile, the best solution they can come up with to stop the rocket attacks involves killing way more civilians than Hamas, and then they act like THEY are the biggest victims.
@Kilgore Trout: Israel and Egypt control the legal paths to Gaza. And they both closed the passes for a reason. Hamas was using them for weapon transfers and terrorism.
But I am not talking about the official passes, I am talking about the smuggling tunnels. Who wins when only tunnels are active?
@MrPriest: What are you talking about? Israel controls access to Gaza, not Hamas. Meaning that when the place is bombed to hell and innocent bystanders can't evacuate, it's their fault.
@MrPriest: Um, Israel has blockaded Gaza, not Hamas. It decides who is allowed out and who isn't, and thus is directly responsible for the suffering and death of every innocent person in Gaza, of which there are many. Although after Israel's latest round of bombing, there are now fewer.

The worst is Ghandi (civ 5), he loves nukes so much.

Anyways, Montezuma could loss a battle but not the war and right now he is scheming his revenge. In other news, Taco Bell is opening 10 new stores.

On the first panel you typed "detroyed" instead of "destroyed". Also "it's" instead of "its". Jo pls.

Try fighting against Shaka zulu. He is violent too, sure. But his coding is that he's honorable. He's the most warlike leader but also the one the least likely to back-stab you.

Now for a REAL back staber... fight against Atila. Dude will only make a peace treaty for 5 turn then BAM war again!

Jo, a free advice:
start playing at harder difficulty levels. :)

:Is currently playing as Montezuma:

I'm liking this civ arc, if you can call it that.
That feels like a reference to Gaza militants Hamas attacking Israel.
Well, it's not like they are stupid however, keeping the blockade means Hamas has ownership of the only ways in and out of Gaza, making the leader of Hamas a filthy rich man. He isn't even a Palestinian...

Silly Montezuma, you don't beat tanks with Archers, you beat them with Spearman.

Also, never give Gandhi the ability to produce nukes.

I'm sure that you don't care about technology at all.
