It really all comes down to who's judging the contest. Pandering to the judges will get you further than going with general philosophy.

I think he thinks people are too used to him delivering fanservice, and wants to make sure his audience doesn't flip out if he decides to change up the subject matter of his work a little bit.

Eh, I'd be fine with either cosplay, but for future 'decisions' like this you might not want to color peoples opinions with the vote. Even someone who doesn't follow the comics can tell which character you as the artist like more. :P

In my country about a week ago at the lol regionals, there was a cosplay competition, the first place went to a tyrant Swain, and the second to a female Darius. I am too with Morgan in this one, if the cosplay is awesome enougth, fanservice be dammned.
