Re: "unforgiving"
The game ramped w/ your progress. If you did badly, it was supposed to reduce the difficulty in the next level.

Then again, this was back in my playstyle of "Borg". IE, You will become a part of our collective. I "collected" almost EVERY ship in the game.

You might wanna check TotalBiscuit's recent vid on Homeworld Remastered. By the looks of it, it's the best remaster of a game anyone's ever done so far.

@Dung Nguyen: I tried to save in a new format, I'll avoid it in the future.

Hey, the recent comics have been really good, but Jo, any thoughts on this year's (awful :( ) Dota 2 event? I'd love to see the girls' reaction to it.

Lucky me, I have the original Homeworld/Homeworld II in mint condition, boxed, install keys etc.

Sadly, I was never good at thinking in 3D... somehow they always managed to sneak something past me. I liked the games, it's just... I could do better with Starcraft n stuff...

Anne-Marie knows what's going on and is trolling Jane, apologizing is not like her.
I still love Jane, and it would be nice to see her cosplaying S'Jet

Morgan's being a total bitch right there. If people insults my favorite games, I just tell them fuck you and it'S their loss. I don't get super salty like that.

At any rate, I'd welcome Jane anytime at my house until Morgan cools off. *wink wink* mine >:3

Homeworld.
That was that game where I was flying in space forever, trying to get to checkpoints, then fighting 10 ships and being told to go to some other checkpoint.
And then I got bored and quit.

Jane's my fave. That look on panel 3 is priceless.

Jane's only hope is to play through the entire Homeworld Remastered in a single sitting.

@Undying3132: Thank you, some one else pointed that out first, it also meant that she had to have shaved her head too. And lets be honest both of those would be over kill for some one like Morgan.

Do you guys understand the severity of the situation?
If Morgan cosplayed as Karan S'jet before, it means that she either went naked or wore a white skin tight bodysuit.

Don't worry too much about replaying it. Watched a video about someone replaying Battlefield 2, asking himself "was the game really that great or is it rose colored glasses?" Result: Yes it was that great.

@Klint Izwudd: I imagine gaming webcomic artists mostly read gaming magazines.

So it's easy to see why they have a negative predisposition toward the medium.

@A5PECT: Well in that case webcomic artists haven't read any decent mags.

Those are, of course, stereotypes. There are very high-minded magazine publications out there like Time or Popular Science, and there are lots of piss-poor hardcover titles that shall-not-be-named-but-you-might-be-able-to-guess-which-one-I'm-thinking-of-right-now.

@The Cheat: Magazines are typically associated with shallow, sensationalist media (see "gossip rag"); hardcover books are often associated with more "high-minded" content. At least where I'm from (U.S.)
That is so weird:

Characters shown reading hardcover books are usually good, while magazine readers tend to be antagonists. I'm seeing this everywhere in webcomics, its like the smashed fruit cart in Hollywood car-chases.

Whats so wrong with magazines?

@Scryer: Cosplay as S'Jet obviously.

Can't help but feel sorry for Jane. As antagonistic as she is, she doesn't seem like the type to intentionally take things too far.

Wonder what she'll do to become Morgan's 'frenemy', as it were, again?

Panel 2 Jane is drawn really nicely.

And, you messed up Jane. So, so bad.
