Those of a lesser mind will dislike the new style. It is for the sophisticated, the elite...truly, it is refined and elegant. I eagerly anticipate the next installment in this stunning masterpiece.

Hey Nessmk2, Megatokyo only became serious because Rodney stopped working on it, and Fred wanted to do his own story. I personally liked both approaches, I just wished Fred would update more often.

To quote the author of Megatokyo, Sometimes there's not a punchline. It's the author's comic, and if he wants to make a serious plot arch, by god, that's his choice. I think it's pretty obvious what's going on myself.

There is indeed no punchline, but for a change there is an actual storyline and some suspense and characters I can care about.
I like this style better than the old one (though it was funny and I didn't HATE it). Don't let the haters get you down!

This is really a low point for you.
I honestly have no fucking idea what the hell is going on in any of these panels. But more importantly, even without that i can tell there isn't even a punchline in there.
This is objectively the worst comic you've made to date.
