So, after that, I'm unsure if Inafune's can get his head in the game anymore. It's on the level of someone who's already decided to vote for Trump: letting an arrogant ego-driven asshole who has no fucking clue how the medium or people work giving them something they should never be given: power.
Yeah, just Duke Nukem. Daikatana, what else, what else...
But yeh, my hype for Mighty No9 super-died after that SJW bullshit: wasn't other people telling Inafune what to do the reason X6 and X7 sucked so hard? And right after leaving Capcom, he lets it happen again!
@Sam Borup: The saying assumes that a game is delayed because the developers are putting more time and effort into increasing its quality. DNF is a special case.
@Danund81:
Yay, ignorance is bliss don't forget to drink your coolaid regulary.
The only thing this game has ever had going for it is the nostalgia bait. Anyone who hires people based on personal interest rather than work qualification shouldn't deserve the consumers money.
I think the only time this comic hasn't been true (or at least not to the extent it's talking about) was with The Witcher 3 and I think that was only the case because its last delay was announced not long after Ubisoft's mistakes with Watch_Dogs and Assassin's Creed Unity.
This comes down to disclosure. Especially to the early backers. Like a publisher, the "public" who already paid money in is owed a certainly level of respect and curtsy with development details. For example, what exactly is wrong with the "online" components. No Info = No choice.
Shoot a hole between both doors and then walk through the center. The angry mob on the other side should be dead by then. Nothing in life should even be a dichotomy. There should be a perfect median.
Never compromise. Not even in the face of Armageddon.
There's two problems with this comic:
1. They're not "polishing" anything. The excuse they gave is that there was something wrong with the online components. The game has actually been finished for some time now.
2. That excuse might just be a cover-up for the failed platform certificate.
Ultimately it depends on how good the game is. If it turns out to be mind blowing, then even many months of delay would be forgiven. See StarCraft 1 and Operation CWAL (Can't Wait Any Longer). If it is lackluster though......
