I'll be entirely honest, I've only seen a noticeable difference on the art change only on the last panel, not that I'm complaining, just that your trial period for this art didn't brought that much results. I liked the eyes and facial expressions though. You should keep those.
@Wolf: My guess is the whole arc is designed to recontextualize the NerfNow universe and the main cast of characters. Jane is no longer Soldier-tan, she's Jane; Anne-Marie is no longer Spy-tan, she's Anne-Marie; etc.
@Jo Pereira: Too much detail, too much relief on the bodysuit. We didn't see it earlier because it was black, and not even earlier because no abs : http://www.nerfnow.com/comic/480
Thanks for the changes :)
I wouldn't bother playing all the MGS games, and just go read a Wiki or watch one of the hundreds of videos explaining the story. Cause you are gonna have to do that after you play the games, anyway, because MGS's story is fucked.
I always drew Angie bodysuit like that so I don't really get why people are saying it's body paint now, but still, it's a valid critic so I made some changes.
@bodmans: About the differences with each panel or the trace: Some artists make edits in the whole day, correcting the text and making some fixes are and there, just to prevent trolling or something worse. Other point some of these artist publish one time in the week.
@Andreas Schone: It's something Jo has been doing the past view pages. He changed his style, most notable of the full-front view. But whenever there is a change in pose, it fluctuates.
He's experimenting, and that's ok. he can always go back to the ''old'' style
So you want to play MGS V Without playing any other MGS? :P I would never do that considering how story based MGS series are. Hell i might even pick every other game soon enought myself heh.

Am i the only one, who is wondering about the wandering forehead of Engi? I mean, in the first panel is her forehead so high, in the last panel is it correct.
Possible jobs:
Anne-Marie: Cosplayer and youtuber don't give some money?
Jane: Lazy, hardly can get a good job.
Morgan: Possible writer or journalist?
Aleksandrina: Babesitter? I see no better job to her.
Angela: Someone have to fix the new house... DIY?
Maggie the Magi: Good question! o_ô
I've gone through the numbered metal gears (not portable ops/Peace Walker) and ground zeroes gives a pretty good recap as to what happened between 3 & "now" (which still predates MGS by a good 20+ years) 3 is the only required main one to play before GZ/TPP, but there are references that'll be lost
If you don't want to spend almost 30 hours experiencing the modern-day epic that is Metal Gear, just play Phantom Pain cold. Ground Zeroes is more of a bridge between Peace Walker and Phantom Pain, it won't make sense if you haven't played Peace Walker, which won't make sense without MGS3, etc.
If you just want to get up to speed with Metal Gear's story, this playlist is all you need https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLae_AFHRR5HlGrWSz0sHebp8qgpRtfY6N It's long, VERY long, but will save you a great deal of time over playing each game. And no, Ground Zeroes alone isn't good prep.
I'm willing to wait and see where all this goes. My criticism right now is with its pacing. This arc is very different in nature from the one-shots the comic has relied on. But it's using the same three-panel/day format, which doesn't do a long-form narrative like this justice.
