@Achilles Myrmidon: I'm not sure how the system works. With level 29 I played my first competitive match in Overwatch and was matched with a player of skill level 2500, that's why I assumed (and also the reporting service websites).
This is why I like Heroes of the Storm so much. Well, that and (little) last hitting. Heroes matches are OVER at the half hour mark, usually, while 30 minutes in is just when the game is actually getting started in LoL.
meanwhile, people buy accounts with high MMR with literally no effort
Dota is cancer, just like league, it's a cesspit community with terrible balancing
Heroes of the Storm is probably the only good Moba on the market
aside from Aeon of Storms which is on SC2 arcade
Also I've made mistakes getting ranked (drunk) immediately in the new seasons. It's hard to climb out when my skills are based on game flow, not being a super killing machine. I win more games @ 2200 then 1700
Remember that DotA2 championship game between C9 and SFZ that lasted for 200 minutes?

Well, I've changed from Dota2 to Heroes of the Storm because of match lenght time, it was when they just released the Phoenix and match lenghts were about 1 and 1/2 hours at 3000 MMR, gosh those were long matchs...
Then I just moved to HoS and matches were 30~40 min... *____*
What is your current rank? What do you think of 2500 points (Gold/Platinum) being the average for all PC players global? Personally I think Gold or Platinum should be better than average
@MechaKingGhidra: The game is purposely vague. The closest would be Dota I guess since it has a pure number system without tiers like diamong or stars.
I think 30-40 minute games are more common for the moba matches I see.
Unless they are very even grindy matches, in which case it was probably a good game rather than a faceroll.
Really good push/fight strats can win in 20 or less but aren't as common..
