@nightarix: The hair and eyebrows? no clue, but that whole line is now supposed to be based on magnetic rocks (it's most obvious with Golem)so it might just be representative of iron filings being attracted to a magnet?
@tacoman is that why Golem has hair/eyebrows now too? apparently they datamined the demo and got something like 80-100 pokedex entries out of it, including the Stage 3 of the starters(the Archer/Wrestler/Singer leak were the true final forms supposedly)
It took me a bit to figure out what's out of place with her. The arms and the legs are too in sync. They're supposed to alternate with each other. Left arm forward, left leg back. Right arm back, right leg forward. You know?
Yessss gimme all the Alola variations! Must collect them all!

For some reason I thought of Lola from The Kinks from the title. Clearly I haven't been keeping up with Pokemon and been listening too much to 60's/70's rock.
@Thelonius Dunk: It's a pokemon joke yea, several older pokemon are getting new appearances/typing in the new game branded as "Alola forms" since the game takes place in the Alola region. This has extended to some characters as well, a tanned cousin of Oak being joke as his Alola Form.
@anothga: They were thinking 'oil spill'. They shifted from generic toxic sludge to what it would look like if an oil spill came to life.
Don't look at the official art, look at the in game sprite and you'll see what I mean.
@Jarro Blade: I feel like one issue here is that you don't GET the dugtrio reference... It's Pele's Hair, a type of volcanic glass that comes out in long strands that looks like hair.

Jo would you be willing to do an AMA strip? On the comment for one of the comics you ask people to post questions here on the comment section, then you pick the best or most funny and make a comic out of it.
Sorry joker, gonna have to take the L to explain this one. Many alhoan forms are considered to be completely wrong/off/non-suitable once compared their pokemon's original Kanto forms. Examples like Palm tree, Garfield (meowth), and the trio of blondes.
