@Albert Johfur: I agree with some of your concerns about New Vegas but certainly not the ending being set in stone. At least not in comparison to Fallout 3 where there really was only one ending.
@TheMiscGamer: Pfft. The game was overhyped before it was even announced. Nothing they do will live up to the expectations, it's half life 3 but without the ....actually how many years has it been since half life 2?
(cont.) and have lots of places to visit and explore. New Vegas had a pretty boring main story that was set in stone, the closed ending feels the same regardless of what faction you pick and was unsatisfying. And it's game world was TINY and most of it was empty desert with little exploration to do.
@Nos Rin Am I the only person who thinks FO3 had a better story, gameworld and characters than NV? The only thing NV did better was the retweaked skill categories. A big part of Bethesda-styled games like Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout 3, Skyrim and Fallout 4 is that they are open-ended (TBC)
@TheMiscGamer: well if we could get another fallout like New Vegas that would be awesome. it's so much better then the others. sure I like all the customization in 4 with weapons and bases but i couldn't care less about the story.
I am really going to have to get my gamecube out when I move and try to play metroid prime.... maybe just the first one, who knows. i have too many games to play and I missed out on most as a teenager. uhhg. so far behind. :( so many JRPGs unplayed!
I just hope people don't build up hopes for some rehash of the original and get disappointed when it's something different. People did it with Ghostbusters, they did it with Fallout, they do it with everything. Build hype for something that isn't happening and of course you're going to get upset.
