Don't worry, Anne's costume choice will inevitably be skipped, or quickly passed after a couple of comics, but presumably put onto the patreon and never seen again. You have nothing to worry about Morgan.

Gotta be pods though, otherwise you could just pick off one enemy at a time.

If you are worried about triggering extra pods, why not use a Reaper to scout ahead or use battle scanners so you can anticipate such things?
