also being worked on for 3 years is not all that impressive. Dota 2 is still being worked on to this day, league of legends is still being worked on to this day, and both games are older than Subnautica. Or if you prefer an indie game, The Forest, released May 30, 2014, still worked on, 1/2
A prime example of popularity not being an indication of quaility is with call of duty, which gets tons of players each year, yet is still the same old garbage. Or apple products. Objectivily not worth their price point, yet people still buy them every year.

The number of people consuming any given piece of media does not necessarily indicate the quality of said media.

Hey Jo, I know that you prefer action games, but will you touch on the new Subnautica game, or at least check it out IRL? It’s a pretty big thing, the public is going insane over getting it because it’s been worked on, and publicly available, for more than three years.
