i stopped playing fortnite 2 days after battle royale came out ... wish the devs had the capacity to say something a few months back about it or i wouldn't of bought the game
try do a comic about some game everyone loves but you hate.
one game tons of people on steam reccomend and i personally hate it garry's mod.
there is nothing to do in the single player and the multiplayer is mostly loading screens.
League = 67 million monthly players, Fortnite = 40 million monthly players. So Fornite has been fast growing, but it's not quite up to League yet, just about 2/3 as big which is still phenomenally huge.
Fortnite and the Battle Royale overall, make me feel like the ''Get off my lawn and turn off that Rock music'' kind of guy. I tried to play it, but I get bored pretty quickly. I do get why people like it tho.
And just so you know, i very much like to start my games and never finish them, or to play through them once and thats it. But this game. Whilst it may seem not as much it has alot depth to it actually. And i wanna DLC with clanmechs - thats coming from guy who never knew lore before the game.
@Jo Pereira: How in the...
You know what, fine. I mean, MAAAYBE you somehow evaded all 3 of my comments like a baws, so whatevs. ~60 hours of me playing a game in one week, which i finished and then proceeded to replay on higher difficulty. That is battletech
I just don't see the appeal, I enjoy PUBG for 3-4 rounds, then I've got my fill. The building during a fight in fortnite just looks like cancer that I want no part of.
Jo, you already make great content. Your comics are a lot funnier and original when you make them about games you really enjoy! You'll have more fun making strips about games you like.
Also, thanks to you, I tried out games I've never heard of before, like Darkest Dungeon and FTL
Of course, this may not be the case for Fortnite. What I'm trying to say is, be yourself, and do what makes you happy. Look at me, I play p2w flash games..."FLASH GAMES"
Nothing to ashame of. Ever hear of Valor of Arena? yeah neither do I but seems this is a big market as well.
Also sometimes this hype is made by youtubers (see VR chat, and Getting Over It With Bennett Foddy). But once the youtuber change other game to play the hype will be over.
