Can I agree, I'm not a girl but I should be able to agree
@teruo Hirai
oh I was thinking about those big anime figures of freeza injured and a anime waifu in a sexy pose, still nendroid just looked like a bootleg Pop vinyl to me so I didn't pay much attention
Nendoroid are expensive because they are well made and detailed, are pose-able, any of these two options already are enough to increase the costs a lot but besides that they have many extra parts and accessories and, extra hands for gestures, extra faces for different expressions, etc.
@Jordan Russell: There are plenty of better stuff for less. For example this https://myfigurecollection.net/item/30028 is half the price of this funko https://myfigurecollection.net/item/200768 but for some reason Japan only produces these with their own internal market in mind.
I mean nendoroids are great and all but there quite expensive and don't have as big of a range of pop culture as funko does, I think they mainly stick to anime, or at least that's what I've seen of them
@all the funko haters
you know they must be doing something right because they've got millions of brands to make pop vinyls out of, they're in almost every pop culture store, and they have millions of customers
1. someone need edit the infinite gauntlet to Jo's tentacle on the 2nd panel. 2. we need ask Funko to make the 7 nerf now girls into Funko. fuk tentacle Jo, we don't need him as Funko...we got our own tentacle ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
It helps that Nendoroids actually look good, decently made and detailed, and they look like the character (and not incredibly over-the-top chibified). Funko pops just look like shit, except for some of their monster designs. Basically, if they make the face not look like a Funko :D
I kind of dislike Funkos as well (and I come from the state that spawned the unholy things), but I have bent my rules slightly to buy 3 of them: Farva, Mac, and Thorny from Super Troopers. They just look oddly good as Pops, and I got them for under the price of 2 of them.
