The huge skill Tree is what most new Players scares off.

Am currently playing a templar (Inquisitor) with elemental hit and based on Evasion with Phase Run. It is pretty fun… untill you get a Memory that instant goes into Decay mode and you cant even journey into that Memory :>

...and this is why I'm still occasionally playing Diablo III instead. I wanna play a nice hack-and-slash action rpg, not spend an hour calculating the min-maxing of a build.

@Joey Dickerson: I looked it up, and wow. FFX's original sphere grid has 828 nodes, which is already insane. PoE's sphere grid has 1350.

@Aaron Chan i'm pretty sure the Sphere grid is tiny compared to PoE's Passive Tree, what they show on the board in this comic is around 1/8th of the total tree if i remember correctly.

A rough way to see it is...

Blue gems are usually spells like fireballs or icebolts
Red gems are usually physical attacks like punches or swings
Green gems are usually bow stuff.

Things like a blue gem in a blue slot make sense to me but you have to forgive me if I can't wrap my head around the blue gem for fire thing.

Is this a Sphere grid?

I used to play a COC discharge, i can't remember how much i farmed for a Vagan Dagger with good roll for a 5-6 link vol devotion....just to be at best average :O
