As they mentioned you could draw something silly like a rocking horse or a my little pony. You could also make it a horse costume (with two other characters inside it) or make another character a horsegirl (like catgirl, just add ears and tail)
TentaJo, given the cartoonish nature of your comic strip (not a criticism, its one of the things I enjoy most about it), I dont think it's going to hurt your reputation as an artist if you draw one slightly out of proportion horse. Just draw a scantily-clad Engie on it and nobody will notice anyway.
Good luck! O.o Y'know, you could draw the horse as a rocking horse, those are way easier and open to style choices. Pairing that with Red Dead Redemption almost writes its own jokes.
