In the 2010s Youtube introduced us to "Dorodorobo", a robot that sprays diarrhea everywhere.
You should probably pick up 2-4 weeks of non-perishable food and some flu medication before the panic buyers clean out the shelves. Also, toilet paper, apparently. The flu wont kill us all, but the disruptions in the global markets and the panic buyers aren't gonna make it any easier.
Even if we had efficient flying cars they still wouldn’t be common because you are basically giving people control of a missile. People already manage to crash on the roof of houses with regular cars, if they gave them flying cars they would take down buildings.
Correction:
We can have flying cars, the technology exists.
It's just not cost effective and practical to everyday life. (yet)
