i need to get back to beating DOOM16. I had to restart because i couldn't complete an objective because it required me to hit both speed trials and I had only hit one of them on the first play of the level and, blerhg. It's an amazing game though. 9.5/10

I just replayed DOOM 2016 in preparation, and to be perfectly honest, I felt really burned out by the end, both with the monster-arenas and the scratchy techno music. DOOM Eternal allegedly fixes both of those issues, but I guess I will wait a little before I buy it to recharge.

I think from here on out, I have to be merely a spectator and not a player because this is certainly not made for people like me.

I love Doom. I just have trouble with the amping of the flow of Doom. It's too much, too fast for me to keep up so I just fail miserably. Methodical approach means I lose the intent behind the game's design at best and it feels awkward, at worst I die as I'm pelted from range and/or surrounded.
