Oh, and it was confirmed by Snek's VA that a lot of them weren't specifically *told* that they were voicing aliens.

@Kyle Merwin: Well, I can get with Hybrid Shield (basically fresh off the vat), Muton (too young by the event of second game), and Hybrid Fist (Skirmisher resistance fighter).
The rest of the alien agents seems rather out of blue.

Well, just think of it like base Enemy Unknown: No matter where you're from or what you look like, or what your background is; everyone in XCOM is united by their heavy American accent.

Where is the female snake fanservice?

Some aliens not so much due to them being humans modified with alien DNA with Etheral Network overriding their minds.

Others... Are pretty strange seeing aliens who were formed enemies just becoming friends/allies after five years... Five years to turn from evil empire to average joe.

@Cameron Seipel: the aliens we fight at XCOM aren't failed experiments (ok, not most) they were genetically engineered as mindless soldiers, that's why when you destroy they main brains on the CORE games, all of them just not only stop moving, but stop LIVING

@Andy Willow: Alien Nation was about a race of slaves that crashed on Earth, and after many years they adopted Earth customs, if i'm not wrong the characters we saw were the second generation, aka 'MURICANS

I respectfully disagree. The Ethereals only ever treated them as slaves, this is the first time many, if not all, of them were viewed as something other than discarded experiments. Not to mention those in the squad all have something that makes them fond of Humanity.

Well tbh, aliens don't have a culture or history or customs. They are a blank slate and they adopted the only thing available.

You must not remember the movie, and then series "Alien Nation" then.
