Thanks to steam and gog I can play amazing game at a ridiculous price. My problem with exclusive is that it feels like I'm buying a game for hundreds of dollars.
Can't help but notice no XBox & it's Gamepass service in this comic. Gamepass has done more to dissuade me from buying games on Switch than Steam sales ever have.
For me, PS4 was the buy I regret. There are very few games that aren't covered by either PC or Switch. While playing mobile games is nice, the Switch has a number of games I really like to play, like Mario platformers.
Playstation do have sales but for people like me who is used to buy games with 90% discount or free those 40% discount in console games sales feels like a no deal.
These days I am spending most of my gaming time on Warband anyway. One of the PC exclusives ;)
Nintendo Switch turned into a failed experiment for me :/ My Steam backlog is too large, and in situations where I thought I'd use the Switch I continue just reading Webcomics or playing iPad games.
It's not even just Steam sales. I have been completely spoiled by things like boot time, gyro aim that I would only consider Switch and Steam (my PC is always on) for just about everything.
And now with the Persona 4 Golden, Steam has taken both my soul and my money once again. See you guys next month. Time to revive those hundreds of hours I spent on my burnout Vita.
