Yeah, Epic got too big for their britches and picked a fight with one of the most litigious megacorporations on the planet. I see to good guys in this fight.
Fortnite decided to start a war with Apple by trying to buypass Apple's cut of their profits. So Apple delisted them from the Apple store - playerbase was pretty big on the Apple store so Fortnite's viewer base and membership took a hit.
I sure hope so that Among Us will finally kill Fortnite views. Fortnite had it too good for too long. When people unironically started doing the Floss in real life, it should've imploded into a ball of cringe. Not to mention that Epic Games is a shitty company with a shitty platform.
I'm just sad that people can never tell the difference between Fortnite and Battle Royale. Don't shit on Fortnite, that game was super fun, some of the best Co-op I've had since L4D2. It's Battle Royale we don't like.
I think fortnite is not being so streamed now because a lot of the streamers just played it because famous. When among us became more famous the fortnite streamers started to stream among us
What happened to Fortnite? Short attention spans happened to Fortnite. They had their fifteen minutes, and now everyone's talking about Among Us and Fall Guys. Wait a few weeks/months and some other pop culture thing will take their place.
People enjoys streamers bantering with each other intellectually more than brainless manic screaming thrown directly into their face every once in a while, it seems.
