There's sales of the Warcraft 3 reboot, Arcade Collection, Overwatch. Continual sales of Starcraft 2, Diablo 3, as well as their reboots. Booster packs/micropayments from Hearthstone, Heros of the Storm. And don't forget related merchandising.

What else does Blizzard even have these days that's bringing in money, anyway?

"For the clicks" is honestly why outrage channels exist at all. Geeks and Gamers, Quartering, Mecharandom42 and many others. They don't believe their own brand. They just know how to turn pissy man-child nerd rage into bucks!

To be fair, Blizzard has been their own worse enemy for a while now. People have both thrown money at them before saying "I'M OUT" since as far back as Wrath of the Litch King. Wonder if Anne supported the "Face roll to get epic loot" of that xpac.

Yeah, i did notice a ton of WoW channels have started putting up "Blizzard sucks now so i'm quitting WoW" videos...i'm honestly thrilled about (hopefully) seeing the end of that game and the downfall of ActiBlizztard.

Jo is really going through a cynical phase...

WoW isn't as big as it use to be ... but it still has over 4 million players. That is a huge monthly income that most gaming studios would kill for. So the current news is hitting EA in the financials which gets Bobby to move. Kind of amazing actually.

Well, glad that I am not into WoW.
Mostly due to subscriptions, but what the story and ennui of playerbase...glad that I didn't got into it.
