Tried some ARMA3 MilSim Gaming with Zeus Missions. Liked it. Obviously it is not an action shooter as you have to care about civilians, ask questions and have to operate as a tight team.

@Chris : Save the World was officially released in june 2020. After being promised to go f2p for years, but ddidn't. Game was a buy to play, originally with friend invites, but even those got removed at some point.
Fortnite: Save the World was launched for a few months and it flopped. Hard. The dev team saw that PubG was doing well, and that the mechanics for PubG were easy to implement with the assets Fortnite already had in place, so they went for it. Fortnite went F2P and they were on console so it exploded
I wouldn't worry so much about gacha.
1, it's mostly the asian market, those bugmen are okay with paying to win
2, it's dying out as a trend because more and more governments are banning it for being a form of gambling
I'm still quite bitter about Fortnite Save The World basically being canned in favor of Fornite Battle Royale, it was the better game mode and had some really fun dialogue and characters. Fortnite BR isn't terrible, it's just incredibly overrated and doesn't deserve the popularity.

Not really. I can't say why most people have multiple versions. The only reason I have two, is that Bethesda gave out the Special Edition to those of us who bought the original threw Steam.
It has also been forever since a 60$ "AAA" game actually released without being clearly rushed, full of gamebreaking bugs or predatory gatcha crap. We're truly in a bizarro world when a new Halo game comes out as the least trashy game.
At least Kingdom Two Crowns got a nice 6 euro expansion.
Article in the middle screams Genshin Impact. Possibly Blue Archive too (no idea yet). As for Fortnite... I'll always remember Fortnite as a survival builder PvE game and not as this BR bandwagon clusterfuck with Naruto and whatever else. Fuck BR, fuck Epic. Doubly fuck Epic for destroying Paragon.
