I'll admit I was very confused about the format, browsing from my PC. Definitely made me laugh! Browsing from my Samsung Galaxy S10 phone, the text was a bit small and I had to zoom in anyways to read it. Not 100% on this one yet, but keep experimenting!
I actually like this now that I think about it. Having to scroll down gives me a moment to read the joke without also seeing the punchline at the same time. to an extent.
(1/3) I agree with previous posters. The depicted format is *neither* desktop *nor* mobile friendly.
On PCs it adds scrolling, where previously none was necessary. On mobile, it doesn't improve anything. Same amount of zooming, same number of scrolling directions.
(3/3) The only thing that's really BAD for mobile is having to zoom *both* vertically and horizontally. That is usually caused by book-page-like panel arrangements and doesn't apply here.

I normally use my phone sideways though because you have more screen-space for text that doesn't do
this
all
the
time.
Not a fan of vertical comics like this. It isn't PC friendly, nor is it mobile friendly IMO. I've always turned my mobile device horizontally when reading on the web, because it's easier to read that way.
The site layout itself is counter-productive toward vertical comics. If you're REALLY going to do this (please don't), you need to mess with your CSS for a while.
On PC vertical comics don't look as good due to needing to scroll to get to the next part, on mobile i need to zoom in on the screen regardless if it is horisontal or not to read the text while the rest of the image is fine either way i would say.
not particulary good on a decktop monitor. On mobile, I'm used to inconveniences anyway (and can also orient it horizontally), but on decktop PC I'm kinda use to watch comics without hitches
