This is why I am actually a fan of the "radio operator in your ear" method of story telling. I'm getting the exposition, but I'm actually playing the game instead of watching a ten minute cutscene.
@GabeZhul In the early days Angie's sex life was kind of crazy. That hasn't been a part of the comic for a long time. But its good fodder for a punch line. I wouldn't take this strip as a relationship between them.
That said, Anne is more or less the only girl left Angie could hook up with.
They've been kind of teased as a friends with benefits thing in the past, notably when it was shown that Annie was the only one of the girls who knew where Angie was during her exile, and giving her food and other supplies to help out.
I know this is probably just a one-off gag, but since when are these two in this kind of relationship? Wouldn't this have worked much better if it was the actual established lesbian couple used in this strip?
