Pathfinder 2 splitting Perception out of skills was a good decision. It's too good for Thievery or Athletics to compete with.

That's why I like "Passive Perception" in D&D 5th edition. You DONT need to tell the player they failed a perception check...

For a second I thought was a Disco Elysium comic, because that's about how things would play out in that game. You'd fail a perception check and trip over your own shoelaces, then suffer morale damage.

The Goblins are also remarkably entertaining.

And fun to play in D&D, so will keep hoping for either a Volo's Guide-esq DLC or someone to mod the little bastards in as a playable race.

When this happens, I go to camp and swap out my members. The new guys sometimes have better luck.

Or I just have Asterion run out up front.
