But I can also understand why people wouldn't be interested in it because of that reason. So yeah, it's best to skip if your not interested. But if you've enjoyed FNAF either now or in the past, there may be something in it for you.
Most FNAF fan's "Get" what the franchise is about, and understand why other's wouldn't. I'm in the fanbase myself and only take it so seriously. But it's the Fan's who keep it intriguing. The movie works if your a fan of the series, and doesn't feel like a cynical cash grab. -
There is a proper "movie adaptation" already: Willy's Wonderland - which is good enough and I doubt ant official FNAF film can be nearly as fun. The movie was a huge surprise for me as I did not hope it to be any fun, but it was. Best guilty pleasure type of movie for years actually.
