Rocksteady has really gone down the crapper. Suicide Squad is a massive turd, and disrespectful as hell to boot.

You do realize you're not actually the Captain of your own ship in Helldivers right? That's like, 50% of the joke.

Or you can play a (war) criminal who gets bombed by their reckless teammates while hunting down heroes from some government that treats you like poop.

But like the Helldivers are killing they bugs for body oil. You are murdering children to harvest their blood.

Funny, given Starship Troopers (at least from the movie onwards, not the original novels) already is a parody of the SAME STUFF.

As for myself? I'd rather get one of the actual Starship Troopers games for that. Where as goof-off with as less-serious DC villains? Yes please!

I think you underestimate how appealing "being talked to like shit" is to a big audience. As long as it comes from the right end of the hot/crazy matrix.

And yes I was less interested in playing looter shooter in generic looking city with character's I didn't want to play as before the one's I was ordered to kill.

Honestly, it can matter Alot. Normally I wouldn't be interested in a Military setting. But setting it up in a place called Super Earth, with everyone making "Freedom" jokes while fighting giant Bug Monster's and Robot's? Yeah, I'd be down for that. (when they iron out all the PC kink's that is)
