The "catch" for Guild Wars 2 is that the first game was fresh and unique and they're gutting all the unique stuff to make it more like WoW.

basically guild wars wll charge for special account items such as extra character slots, makeovers etc... [see: gw1 for reference] and charge for expansions packs or extra campaigns(note WoW charges you for expansions and have a subscription fee due to them being money grubbing people

Swallow. They've already said they're taking out many of the features that made it GW1 interesting. IE No multiclassing. Not only that but I've played with these bastards forever now. I can tell when they're desperate. They use the same hype about non-existant synergy. IE firewall and cyclone ax.

Anyway soldier with intel should be just RUN. If he's not injured, Equalizer doesn't help. If he IS injured, there's too many enemies to take at once. Rockets might help, but he'd be better off getting out of blu's fort.

Trailers don't mean shit, because trailers are a movie, and movies are exactly what games are NOT: non interactive. Games that have really good CGI tend to be shit at it's core, see FF13 and SC2

So the lone miner sees some ducks the fortress was farming while running from the insane mason. One of the ducks got a bolt to the head from a local archer.

You should just wait for Guild Wars 2 to be honest. Guild Wars was a fun game and all, no monthly subscriptions, however you will learn that to be the "best" at the game, you need to buy all of the other expansions for just minor skills.
