These games stopped being fun the moments they went for "realism" We loved Tony hawk game case they were unrealistic, nothing screamed fun like playing as Spiderman on the moon ramping up onto a rocket and grinding off into a black hole.

Early Tony Hawk games are good, because they are ridiculous, fun things that defy all laws of physics and have simple easy-to-learn, hard-to-master controls. As opposed to finickity controls with ridiuclous gimmicks that attempt to pander to realism; like nail the trick and that damn board.

The thing is, early Tony Hawk games are good, but then they milk the cow until everyone getting sick of it. Then they think they can throw in gimmicky item to amped up dwindling sales.

It fail, and they throw Tony out.

In one of the T.H.U.G. games, you get trapped inside a Russian TANK. A TANK. Go back to your roots, Tony. Your roots and also the tank.
