It's true because being a medic is the easiest job in any game. It's easier to stand back and heal some dudes then it is to run in and set some dudes on fire and shit.

Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished.

When you're the healer it's always your fault.

@Dead Herald: Not really as only one achievement gives a prize for accomplishing it, and it doesn't require to get on YouTube.

Plus, I think videos can also be posted on a personal Steam gallery.

However, I do forsee a lot a new Youtube accounts that'll only post one video... ugh.

Anyone else find it douchebaggery on Valve's part to make achievements that can only be gotten through youtube?

@a non e mouse: Like I said, my guildies. I wouldn't do that on a random pug unless I needed to drop aggro. But then, of course, I'd MD to the tank, not another DPS or the healer.

Since on WoW I've always been a fellow shadowpriest, I've tryed a Disci Healing spec to see how it's like to be an healer
Their blood is on my hands
(NOTE: There was mainly a mana problem, for the gear difference. Lack of spirit)

Oh, I know this type of player all too well. Even in a good game, there's always at least one waiting in the shadows... ready to strike with a shrill voice through the mic...

God, help us all.

The sad thing at least with WoW right now is that you get a lot of dps trying to pose as heals on account of that new system that rewards harder to come by roles qeueing. A Grim Batol group I was in the other day went through 5 healers, 3 of which fit that. Other two were good one had guests though

Congrat jo, you hide the medic's boobs so we can't MINE them.

I hate you.

@Project_mars: But of course. It's part of the DPS' job to make sure they're not generating more aggro than the tank. If a tank can never seem to keep aggro, though, even after ample time and abilities used to generate it... then the DPS isn't really the problem. :/

Fags love to yell at people coz its izi modo. Being nice is too harsh for their gentle elf wizards in a dress.

I believe PUG refers to Pick Up Group. Basically a group of random people who joined together. Normally what you see in matches in most online FPS, but I'd imagine most people in MMO do them.

PUG= Pickup Game?

The only way to deal with situations like this is just constantly to admit your mistake, before other people call you out on it. DK pulled aggro and just got squished again? Apologize to the DK before he can say anything. You can't be mad at someone who just apologized.
Dragonfodder
To all good healers out there- Bravo. I cannot deal with EXACTLY this situation gracefully.
I'll stick to nice, psychotic tanking to be mad at pugs.

Ok i have this problem as healz all the time, and here is my advice, when im healing and my pug grp is on a boss that i know people just "stand in the fire" on, i be polite and tell them about it and then say "if you stand in it and wont move out, i wont fucking heal you"
Project_mars
Granted, that's only for DPS. Obviously the healer will be nicer to the tank... But with DPS you can use tough love.

@Deject: Very true. In my case this is making fun of Left4Dead versus players.
Project_mars
After panel 2, if in Heroics you then point out thusly:
"Heroics are hard and require your full attention. Failure to do so will result in your character going squish."

Although if you are healer you have the right to say: "If you screw up and pull Aggro, I am *NOT* saving your ass."

@Obliged to Knowledge: I would say it applies to any game that has any system in which people who do not know each other can group to work towards a common goal. Effectively any MMO, but also includes the non-massive variety. At worst, some games like D&D with new people.

Sounds pretty much like what a "LEET" raider with tier 12 says. And then he ninjas the best drop cause he "carried you".

Can someone explain what game this refers to?
I understand the situation and the text well, and I know it can apply to a number of multiplayer game. I was just wondering what specific game it refers to.

When I play a tank OR a healer, both panels are considered my fault. :/ And people wonder why it's so hard to get a tank or a healer to pug. >_>
UltraCharger

For some reason, when I play a healer, panel 2 is also my fault.
