See,the thing I hate about "game rankings" is that they don't really tell you how good a player is. Take me for example.
I have personally changed the tide of battle on more than one occasion. But I change the battle in ways that just aren't counted on the scoring system,so I have a low score.
Merlynn
So I end up being this low score "perma-noob" that no one takes seriously. Then they find out I'm a pitbull with a shotgun full of hate who will fucking murder them if they even think about touching my intell. That simply giving me the ability to heal can make me an unstoppable monster.
Merlynn
And just cause I don't have a sniper rifle doesn't mean I can't pick your snipy ass off at long range better than you can, scope boy. But this isn't counted. It's just kills and heal points and it doesn't add up to the tactical genius that I employ over and over. So yeah, scores don't mean shit.

If MM works, the other players won't be that far away from you anyway. Not really sure why someone would use it to judge players at the start of the game. I'd much rather check out the stats at the end of game just out of curiosity and ofc to track my progression.

@Nando Rock: to be fair, 10% of 20000 is 2000, a not insignificant number. and if you are swinging at 5.5 seconds instead of 3.5 seconds you are doing about half as much damage to begin with
Aaaaand the DotA 2 community will now be shittier. Not by much, but definitely shittier. I guess I can see this being useful if you're putting together a team for competitions, but then again, you'd be making a PUG if you don't know any of them. Go go team blame each other all the time.
