In most series with anthro characters , for some reason women almost always wear more. Is it because they are women, because they are not main characters or because they are (usually) introduced later?
And why does Knuckles look EXACTLY like Bark?

I do not know what to make of the pixelation here.
I personally envision Amy to be, at most, Sally-like. More shapely than mister blob here, but still having nothing to hide. It could be a joke on that.
However, this site has close ties with R34, and Amy definitely needs the clothes in that world.

As far as the changes to Amy (and Tails)..it looks like they're being made part of the team, rather than the *annoying* wastes of space they are in the Adventure games (and keep in mind *like* Tails..just not the Adventures version where he comes off as having less common sense than Big).

Hmm. New Knuckles looks a lot like Crash Bandicoot, which makes sense given the maker of Boom is from Insomniac-Dog. Wonder if he'll get his bush hat from Sonic the Anime?
To an extent the bandages make sense--they look a lot like sports wraps (though why they're on the shoes themselves, no clue)

I could go on ages writing. Sonic's one of my favourite games and i'm not phased by new looks, but man, do i like the idea of Boom. Everyone with a new badass version. Plus, it looks pretty echletic.

Are you kidding me? Sonic's games is the butt of everyone's jokes, especially Nintendist ***holes, but this one, if the game's anything near the trailer, it'll be muthafucken GREAT!

For all we know, Sonic could've been wearing a skin-tight body suit the entire time.

Also, how is everyone bitching about the bandages and shit yet not seeing the fact that they may be going down the Freedom Fighters path with this. They have this kind of wastelander feel to them now, so I get the feeling Eggman, as humorous as he is still, might actually be in control of the world.

One thing to note: Watch the gameplay video. When they fall down a large hole near the start, Amy is the only one who lands on her feet, and kind of ninja style too. So they may actually be making Amy useful and giving her a personality, too.

I'm an old school Sonic fan and, I gotta say, I love the new concept characters. I think their appearance matches their personalities a little better now. Still, I'm kind of wondering what's with all the wrappings. Is everyone turning into mummies or something O_o

well for me knuckles was always fit, aggressive and agile as he climbs wall, can't see this new brute do that. always loved old knuckles since saw him in opening of S3. for me his personality was in terms with his looks, and also his music theme

Liking the new look, for the most part. Though I do not understand why they need quite so many bandages on everything. Knuckles's fists makes sense, but why are Sonic's SHOES wrapped, of all things?

The heck are you on about? Amy has never not worn clothes in a game. Matter of fact, usually she wears a dress that makes her look like she's in a christmas pageant.

About Karate Shoukoushi Kohinata (the manga that Jo recommended), one of the characters is a brazilian also a violator of young men. The manga is funny, it is not like Slam Dunk (more like Hajime no Ippo) but its ok.

Oh well... You would have hoped people have learned their lessons with the last 10ish games that were bugged beyond playability.

I don't have very confidence in this game, from what i saw it doesn't look like a normal sonic game, more like a co-op fighter. Sonic quick and agile, Tails is utility and sets up with gadgets, Knuckles is the lanky damage taker, and Amy is slow but does a lot of damage with her hammer.

Huh, first I'd heard of this. I feel like Knuckles's new look makes more sense than his old one did, for a guy who's renowned for his punches, the guy had some spindly arms.

Man.. Still not gonna stop the sonic cycle... Just my god it looks like knuckles just hit the damn steroids and the bandages on sonic's shoes.. Well still gonna see how this fares but I'm not holdin my breath.
