I tweeted about my desire of Nintendo going 3rd party and just releasing their IPs on other platforms, but I ponder if this will ever happen.

But I feel the console format is so awkward.. like the Blu-Ray vs HD-DVD thing. Why not just buy a game and run it on any gaming-machine you prefer?
