His reaction to Queen of Pain (The Blue girl) on the last panel, refers to towers getting denied, thus giving only half the gold to the other team, Carries focus on getting more gold, and thus he's pissed. This is more or less how a winning team vs. a losing team works.
Russians are stereotypically considered bad players in DOTA, as a result of many of them playing on English servers, refusing to speak English, and the constant bitching. Russians do so because they're not willing to wait for a Russian server game, as the english server is larger.
Faceless, as we mentioned, ignores the supports and what they do, thus not understanding warding, and as a result, failing.
Note also faceless's bitchiness, teams that fail are often the ones who bitch more. Faceless is also implied to be russian, hence his tendency to say "Cyka".
Faceless asks if Antimage has eyes on his back, since his ambush failed, the screen shows us a mass of eyes on a stalk, which is a Ward, set up by Crystal Maiden, so that Antimage can farm safely, while Faceless, having likely ignored supports as not a part of the game.

Ok, here's what's going on.
The guy with an axe in the vegetable garden is Anti mage from, grown up and responsibly farming, he then proceeds to "Blink" which is a medium range teleport.

@Joshua Thomspon
The axe is a "Battle Fury", which gives your basic attacks an area-of-effect cleave. As such, it's s useful tool for getting gold, or "farming", by killing many enemies simultaneously. Hence, AM is farming with the Battle Fury. It's a visual pun.
Hey Jo did you do a guest appearance in Grrlpower? If you look close there is a purple tentacle in the group of supers attacking Max and crew.

So what, you farm with an axe in DOTA?

Also, to make it simpler, pink is kind of Anti-Mage's color. His weapons glow pink, his clothes are pink, his ability effects and icons are all pink.
I suppose if I paid more attention to the wiki page I might have remembered that AM has an ability named blink and that battlefury looks like an axe, which would have been sufficient hints by themselves.
The big thing I didn't get at first is that bandanna guy here is apparently supposed to be anti-mage from the rest of the week, despite not actually looking anything like he did the other day. Is the bandanna a cosmetic item for him or something?
Basically, supports do all the hard work, and for the benefit of the team. A carry's job is comparatively easier (stay alive, get gold)

A simple explanation, Noble Savant, and fairly accurate. Good supports dictate the pace of the game, and while 'babysitting' is one thing they can do, they're also responsible for setting up ganks, map vision (warding & de-warding) as well as stacking and pulling neutrals.

I'm generally not fond of DOTA streaks but this one is hilarious and perfectly understandable.
its really straitforward, I dont see how you cant understand what's going on.
they try to ambush some guy, yet he manages to escape, somehow knowing about the attack.
this can even be a standalone strip, concerning wards and vision...
oh, did you get inspiration for this thanks to my link Jo?
- known as a ward, which gives your characters vision, despite them not being there. It's an item that mostly supports purchase. Hence the "eyes in the back of his head comment". The man farming in this comic is the former child from before, now an adult. Does that explain it?
Basically, the child in the first comic, as well as the bully, are both carry types. The mother is in place of a support. She doesn't have shoes, because she gave up all her gold to her child, which he finally realized two comics ago. What you're seeing at the bottom right corner of this comic is -
The support's job is essentially to protect the 'carry' hero in lane. The carry starts out very weak, but becomes strong later on in the game. Thus, the support is the mother, the carry is the child. The support character gives up their own gold so the carry can 'farm', or acquire more gold.
Nathaniel, let me try to explain. This is somewhat easier to understand if you know anything about the Moba genre at all. This will take a few posts to explain, so please bear with me.
This comic is crossing the idea of a 'support' character, with the mother.
nathaniel, do you expect everything to be spoon fed to you? This is a plot line series. We're gonna find out whats going on. "tried to follow it at first", we're hardly any pages in. We've hardly even started.
I hate to say I'm a little disappointed with the Dota 2 obsession. I tried to follow it at first and was open minded. But now, I just have no clue what's going on anymore. The guy before says this is the best one yet so maybe I should just be patient.

I just gotta say, this comic is by far one of the best dota comics to date. I can't wait for it to be finished and compiled into a full size page.
