You can, but there's no reason to when you have a key to go to your select character screen.

I'm a bit ashamed to admit I don't play TF2 (Love it though), but, can you class change by opening the console, or no? I was thinking maybe the Heavy was going Engineer.

For the sniper unlock, mebbe they'll bring back thier autorifle version of the sniper rifle from TF1 in some form.

Console has nothing to do with cheating in multiplayer.

But the sniper is already a medium range character, I run around with my SMG and machete all the time. D:<

As a sniper, I'm kinda happy with this update. Camping on the other side of the map while standing still, it's just not for me. I prefer to be in the fight, just behind the first line. So, a sniper rifle that is better for close-medium range combat is much better for me than current long-ass rifle.

Heavy is such a nice guy! Teaching noobs n all.

Maybe Valve will give the sniper a gun that can pull people a bit closer.
