Valve said 2 interesting things in his last blog update.

1 - The new primary unlock will help the Sniper to get more involved with the fight. Well, if Pyros can snipe with Flare Gun, I am waiting for my assault snipers with their Scoped Shotguns.

2 - The Sniper unlock is focused on making THE OTHERS PLAYERS happier. Even on his update, Sniper doesn't get much of a spotlight.

Soon they will turn 2fort in a guetto and lock all Snipers there.
