techies probably comes along with 6.82 patch, which may even be a month after TI, so dont hold your breath.

What's the suprise about? International means no new big updates for next few months. It was the same last year.

Honestly I feel like I'm the only one not hyped for goblin techies, I await patiently for winter wyvern. Since that was a hero that I absolutely LOVED to play as. I can wait for my enemy to be felt the wrath of their own fed faceless void. Also healing ice blocks are LOVELY!

For me every time an update doesn't include techies, it's a good update.

Tournament tickets are a joke, specially those with $500 prize pool.

When cyborgmatt's blog was the place to check for patch notes, and there was a forum, and there were 20 pages of "NO NEW HERO DED GAEM GG VOLVO".

I think you've got the nostalgic goggles on, on average balance patches come once every 3-4 months, and 6.81b only came out in June. Even during the beta days there were plenty of patches in between that were purely dedicated to more tournament tickets, cosmetics and bug fixes, this is nothing new.
