I dunno, I play very little DotA and have never heard of this statue thing before. But I was able to figure most of the joke out via context.

Protip: This strip is more about the characters themselves (which have been established in previous comics) than the statue mechanic itself.

@Mr. Lemon: From what I get, your point is not "Please, no more DOTA2". It's "Please, no more non-understandable DOTA2", right? This is why converting it all to LoL (Or to other Mobas) will not change anything. It still need explanation.

I accepted my fate of reading DotA2 comics while not playing DotA2 at all. They're sometimes funny, and as an ex-moba/arts/dotalike player I understand some of them.
But this one? I cannot deal with. Obscure, closed clique DotA2 community jokes are not ok.
