@Geary: He did try LoL for a while, but it seems he eventually decided he liked Dota better. The strips: http://www.nerfnow.com/comic/1234 http://www.nerfnow.com/comic/1235 http://www.nerfnow.com/comic/1237 and http://www.nerfnow.com/comic/1242
You could always try some of the different game modes if you haven't already. Alternatively, find some friends to play with and talk with them while playing.
All you need to win in this patch:Diffusal is no longer a UAM or orb. Build it as a second orb on all agility people. Troll + helm of dominator+diffusal=game is over
I usually just ward sentry the whole map in my baddy tier.

(Cont.) For new players it just confuses them and gives them an inaccurate impression of the the game at large.
URF is something of an inside-joke, and Jo is outside of the clique.

@Geary: Events like today's are mostly for veteran players, since they have enough experience to understand exactly how URF departs from normal gameplay and appreciate its novelty/absurdity.

Today's comic is essentially a sequel to this comic:

A very, very, very belated sequel.

@Dave Warren: It doesn't have anything to do with any specific game.
It's a humorous juxtaposition of class-building mechanics from video games in general and evolutionary specialization in the real world.[/explainingthejoke]
Jo, you should play LoL, at least for right now. They're currently having their 'April Fools' game mode, Ultra Rapid Fire, where everybody has stuff like 80% cooldown reduction, zero mana cost, and a giant movement speed buff.
@Nya-chan: for maximum skill all maps should just be X amount of alleys.
Don't play your stupid clicking tanks. Don't hide in your TD's. Am i missing something?
I've had streaks as bad as that. Go random, until you are carried the curse doesn't seem to go away. Go sup, initiator, have fun or something since you know you'll lose.
I once had a 14 loses streak (including some games with my friends). That kind of experience was actually beneficial to me: I'm no longer angry or sad about losing a game
Had i the time and friends alongside to do it, i would pick up a history book, and translate it to something like this..... can't imagine "and so, the Beerfest lost to Vodkatonics, because they had no frost-resistance"
