but why did it have to be sony? i loved the idea of the last guardian. but i totally won't buy a damn ps4 for it... here's to hoping pc will get it aswell
Too much excitement, her head exploded. Wish that would happen to some people in real life. Might be a good way to get rid of some people that have become "the problem".
Seriously? Support for indie gamers, xbone version of early access, supporting Fallout 4 mods? This is huge for the gaming community as a whole. In contrast, Sony showed a game that's been too hyped - hope you guys would get your money's worth if it comes out...and the rest are "numbered" games.
Cont; My complaints have nothing to do with how the game looks, the fact that they are going against established rules of the setting (imagine if lord of the rings suddenly featured aliens) and the things that made the setting work. The game looks like a shooting game with crafting, not an RPG.
@Jeremy Wurm: Oh shove off with your "you haven't even played it" bullshit kid, if you know the first fucking thing about design you know you won't be getting a full dialogue tree like you had in fallout one and two and this is all you'll have to settle for.
@Censurr cont.: this is not the 1990's a big budget game will not look like fallout 1&2, especially not one made by the people who do elder scrolls. did you get this mad when Mario stopped looking 8 bit or went 3D.
@Censuur: so you have an advanced copy then, you got to hear all the dialogue? no, then you don't know that. all I know is they had the foresight to record characters saying thousands of popular names so that the NPC's can refer to created characters by name. and I hate to tell you this but ...
@Jeremy Wurm: Fallout won? The game has only a passing resemblance to fallout. Where fallout 3 inappropriately fondled the setting this one looks to be going in dry.
Complex dialogue is now replaced by a shallow dialogue wheel and voiced protagonist means less dialogue.
I agree with @MorteFreekill, Fallout won, and by extension Bethesda. game looks great, love the new features, and modding for Xbox one. that's something that PS4 players will not get. so Xbox one also won.
@Daniel McPartlin: true, many games now a days are muti platform, its these games in particular that people been wanting to happen for decades, and if it was announced during say Microsoft, or any other press conference, people will proclaim said company won E3. Sony so wins E3 unless Half Life 3
@Bart Stabwound: Not sure what you're saying, but I imagine Bethesda will have to change the way mods are gonna be made for PC now, if they are allowing them on Xbox and PS4... and I play Minecraft with friends on PC, what of it?
@MattyAC: I can play that game too. Play all those old games. Play games with no one. Yeah, if you like Minecraft. And why wouldn't I play that on PC? There's no way any mod that requires a script hook or script extender is going to work on that.
FF7 is the single most overhyped game of all time. No thanks. On the other side, Mirror's edge 2, SW Battlefront, all games from Devolver Digital...How can you not want that? Shadow Warrior 2 for crying out loud ! FALLOUT 4 !!!
Final Fantasy VII? already played it. Last Guardian, great but team Ico games, while among the best are never that comericially succesfull (it's hard to sell actually good products), similar for Shenmue.
Sony has the better games by far, but not the most marketable.
I think I was more impressed with Microsoft's this time round, BC with 360, cross play between both consoles, HoloLens looked ace and Fallout Mods for Xbone!!!
Sony show off an old game getting a remake, a game they already announced years ago and a game that needs Kickstarter to help fund it....

i feel so lonely
i just read EVERYTHING from this site in a mere 2 1/2 days
my , im either dedicated, or pathetic
I'm more exited to play Fallout 4, but holy fuck, Last Guardian, FF7 remake and Shenmue all in one E3?
I honestly had filed all 3 of those in my "never happening" file.
@Anthony Edward Beanes: I don't count it as "Big guns" unless it's an exclusive. Which means they broke out one big gun as far as I'm concerned. Their whole conference can be summed up with "Console exclusive (but also on PC)" "Timed Exclusive" "Exclusive Content" "Exclusive Beta"
