I know this is an old, old comic by now but I think it'd be amazingly cute idea to make a wallpaper out of the last panel like the hudda wallpaper. Just a thought.

Probably, going to get flamed for this, but I enjoyed the comics even though I have never played a single game of TF or TF2. If TF2 had mods to make characters look like the ones you designed, I would buy it in a heartbeat.

There is nothing better for stoping an uber.
Just the other day I stopped 2 ubers at once on Dustbowl Stage 3 Cap 2.

That's why I like the backburner, actually. Proper ambushes kill quick.

I always try to share my sandvich as much as I possibly can. It's just that no one ever seems to see it.

Anybody relying on afterburn to kill is doing it wrong in the first place...

sandvich. But as he walks over to examine it, we see a flicker as a
cloaked Spy rushes up to it. We both scream "NOOO!!!" and
minigun/rocket him. My friend then gratefully grabbed the sandvich as we laughed.

The main thing is that players are smart now, and the main victims
of afterburns was players who couldn't reach health in time. Skilled
Pyros have found more effective ways to kill than afterburns.

Also, the medic here is just too cute..she's so cute she can even make a heavy give her his lunch?

Don't forget that the airblast also extinguishes flames. ...when the damn pyros remember to do that.

Afterburn is going to get even fewer kills if they release the flame retardant suit for the spy that's in the beta tests.

Psh, afterburn-schmafterburn. Just Axetinguish them to death. Even a buffed Heavy will go down in 2 swings or less.

last panel  is SOOOOOOO adorable ^_^ you have a nick for making the simple few lines moove one's cheeks up. and tbh with her changing class 3 times (medic-heavy-scout) i thought she's gonna be "reroll-tan" rather then medic-tan. but hey.

What I'd like to see is Afterburn making heals less effective.  Heals (beam, pickups) would extinguish flame or heal you.  Ergo, a Pyro that successfully sets a whole enemy group ablaze (the idea behind the class) would see a payoff in overall damage & reduced efficiency of heals.

Since the afterburn does 60 damage, I think its fine as it is, albeit OP

that spy and sniper would make an awesome spray as a spy, stick it up next to the sniper when he's in zoom, wait with clock n dagger till he notices and turns around to look and backstab

@Afason - You should look at the Sept 15 update, Alt-fire now drops the sammich to be picked up.  It's already in the game, hence the comic.  :

But yeah, now 5 out of the 9 classes can cure fires, when at first only 2 could. That's a pretty serious nerf for the pyro.

This should totally be a thing you can do in the game... It's so annoying to be medic and be dying while you're healing the other player.
Besides, it would be great for more heavy/medic connections :D

At the "Afterburn doesnt really achieve anything"
I see at least once per round 1 person dying 0.1 second from medic/medpack/sandvich because of afterburn.
Tell me that this aint Achievement, to make those people rage to the heavens.

The afterburn finished when you managed to set them on fire because to set them on fire you had to nearly be inside their clipping model. The range on the beta flamethrower was almost worse than melee.

If only in game heavies were this kind.
