Yeah, the still totally fucked up with having it release on PS4 and PC around the same time. They aren't a big enough studio to release a game on two platforms at once.
I think most of the master race have already realised this is 2016s Spore and therefore don't really have much to be envious over. Still not having Red Dead Redemption is a much more worth moping about.
So far every planet I've seen on streams was sparsely covered, mostly barren rocky hills/cliffs, and the constant resupply/repair required on equipment pieces bogs the game down with repetitive resource sinks. The comparison to Starbound is quite reasonable at this point; all style, no substance.
Looking at streams and vids the game looks incredibly hollow. The tiny inventory system is a huge red flag for the fact that the game will be very lacking in diversity (everything is condensed down to a few select elements) and ironically planets seem to utterly lack a skyline or varied landscapes.
