Just saying but to things. 1. League was not the first to do fiction writing set in the world of a fictional universe. Shadow run and battletech both predates lol. 2. Blizzard lives to get "inspired" by other pepole.

@MrPriest: The problem with Sombra was that she was announced BEFORE Ana was announced/released. As well the ARG has been literally sitting around forever waiting for timers more than it is solving puzzles.
Blizzard should troll everyone with.. King Sombra (unicorn baddie) from My Little Pony, and be all like: "You guys said you wanted Sombra! Never said which one! And we never did get that pony from Ghostcrawler!" Complete with model & video. And then quickly do the real reveal before a riot starts.:P
Args are meant to be little hidden things where people try to debunk them doing cool stuff about that secret. one good example of arg was the keeper in binding of isaac. a nice reward and well done arg, while overwatch is basicly the same thing over and over without satisfaction...
Hey, quick suggestion for a Hearthstone comic. How about something where someone's opening packs, and they find their first legendary. And then it's Lorewalker Cho. It's surprisingly realistic. (Seriously, I've opened dozens and the only legendary I got was that stupid panda. Why, Blizzard?)
Blizzard knows you are all their crackwhore bitches. It's actually a pretty successful tactic for any drugdealer to keep you waiting so you crave it more. So they do whatever they want, go buy some more lootboxes goyim.

lastest news i got yesterday is that the arg is continuning on voskaya industries :D, maybe somebra is just a hacker that helps us not an actual playerable charecters, maybe blizzcon will reveal a totally different hero
I understand the frustration.
I just mean, for those of us who do not work to solve the ARG, it has no implications other than hearing the frustrations of others who do.
Besides, I also hope - the more hype, the more Blizzard will try to satisfy us.

@MrPriest: The thing is that a lot of people find it really annoying. Like, how many people have the cryptographic knowledge to actually PLAY the damn ARG in the first place?
@MrPriest: Usually ARGs would have milestone rewards. Not just waiting for the character itself, we could have had meaningful results out of the goose chase like bits of lore or art or ability hints. Instead it's just countdowns. False hope can kinda mess you up.
